Eigenbetrieb leben&wohnen (ELW) is the social enterprise of the state capital Stuttgart. In the Stuttgart city area, leben&wohnen advises and cares for over 1500 people - in eleven elderly care facilities and with two outpatient services.

The company is active in the areas of inpatient care, short-term care, home nursing, day care and assisted living. Specialists are trained and further educated in the company's own school for nursing professions. In addition, leben&wohnen operates two residential homes for homeless people, which are easily accessible in the center of Stuttgart.

Since its foundation in 1996, leben&wohnen has been contributing to the well-being of society in a variety of ways and creating spaces for humanity.

With this goal in mind, the company continues to develop. With initiatives in neighborhood development, model projects and cooperation in numerous working groups. For even better living and housing in the state capital Stuttgart.
