Stadtwerke Stuttgart GmbH is implementing the energy turnaround on behalf of the state capital. Founded in 2011, the company consistently relies on renewable energy and completely dispenses with nuclear power and coal for electricity generation. The focus is on sustainability.

Stadtwerke Stuttgart relies entirely on climate-friendly alternatives, such as photovoltaic systems, to generate electricity.

Stadtwerke Stuttgart invests in resource-conserving energy generation, operates wind power and photovoltaic plants, implements solutions for heat generation and increasing energy efficiency, and supplies private households and commercial customers with green electricity and natural gas. Stadtwerke is also driving electromobility forward with the installation of charging infrastructure and the stella-sharing electric scooter rental service.

The blue stella e-scooters that whiz around the state capital are powered by 100 percent green electricity.

Stadtwerke Stuttgart GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of the state capital Stuttgart. Detailed information on the executive bodies and business development can be found in the current  investment report.
