Voluntary Social Year (FSJ)

Every year, the state capital Stuttgart offers the opportunity to complete a voluntary social year (FSJ) in culture and politics or in a daycare center.

The Voluntary Social Year (FSJ) is a voluntary service for teenagers and young adults.

Discover, create, get involved! The Voluntary Social Year is designed for young people with an interest in culture, politics and social issues who are looking for an orientation phase before deciding on vocational training or a course of study. There are a wide range of opportunities: from cultural institutions, district town halls, city administration offices to day care centers.

The state capital of Stuttgart offers the opportunity to help shape cultural and social life within the city. Volunteers receive a monthly allowance as well as a varied training program. Start your personal journey of discovery in our city administration and join us from September 1 to August 31 of the following year.
