Stuttgart Official Gazette

The Stuttgarter Amtsblatt is the official gazette of the state capital Stuttgart and is published by the Communications Department. It is published weekly on Thursdays.

The City of Stuttgart publishes an official gazette for information on municipal matters and for the publication of public notices.

The Stuttgart Official Gazette is divided into the following sections:

  • The content section addresses municipal topics from various areas and reports on important decisions of the municipal council and its committees as well as on the work of the city administration.
  • The official section publishes municipal tenders, statutes and regulations, development plans, job advertisements and balance sheets of the municipal subsidiaries.
  • The service section provides information on all the important dates of the week - from emergency medical services to the collection dates of the Umweltmobil and Gelber Sack and church services.

Theeditorial deadline is always Friday, 12 noon. In the case of public holidays, the editorial deadline is brought forward and is announced in the official gazette.

Since 1901 Official Gazette

The Official Gazette appeared for the first time on January 18, 1901 as the "Amts- und Anzeigenblatt". In the more than 100 years of its existence, it has become an important source of information for citizens from the city administration and the municipal council.
