Issue of electronic residence permit (eAT)

An electronic residence permit (eAT) has been ordered for you from Bundesdruckerei.
As soon as the eAT has arrived at the Foreigners' Registration Office, you can book an appointment online to collect your residence permit.

NOTE:

• Residence permits applied for before 17.02.2025:
  As soon as you receive the PIN letter from the Bundesdruckerei, you can book an appointment online to collect your residence permit.
  
  You can also authorize another person to collect it. To do this, you must complete an authorization form:

• Residence permits applied for since 17.02.2025:
  You have already received the PIN letter when you applied for your residence permit at the Foreigners' Registration Office.
  If you provided an e-mail address when applying, you will receive an automatic notification as soon as your eAT has arrived at the Foreigners' Registration Office. After receiving this notification, you can book an appointment online to collect your residence permit.
  
  If you have not provided an e-mail address, you can book an appointment to collect your eAT at the earliest 6 weeks after applying.
  
  You can also authorize another person to collect your residence permit. To do this, you must complete a power of attorney:
