Apply for resident parking permit without fixing license plate number

• You are registered with your main residence in a residents' parking area in Stuttgart.
• You do not have your own or a rented private parking space (parking space, garage).
• You change your vehicles regularly and frequently for professional reasons.

Send an e-mail with the required documents as a pdf file to the road traffic authority at  parkraummanagementstuttgartde.

After the check has been completed, the road traffic authority will send you your resident parking permit without fixed license plate number and a fee notice by mail.

The resident parking permit without license plate number is issued the first two times for half a year, from the third time for one year.

Note: In case of loss of this permit, no replacement is possible!

• Current employer's certification (on letterhead and signed by hand).

The employer's certificate must contain the following:

• Data of the applicant (name, address).
• Justification for the vehicle changes and the frequency of the changes.

Notice:
A certification from the rental car company through which the vehicles are rented is not sufficient.

The processing time at the road traffic authority - after receipt of all required documents - is about five working days. However, delays of up to two weeks may occur due to mailing.
