Tension tape advertising on municipal bridges and in Königstraße - apply for permission.

According to the Federal Highway Act, the placement of information carriers on bridges over federal highways outside of closed local areas (this also includes the areas of federal highways 10, 14, 27 and 295 that have been developed without intersections) is generally not permitted.

Within the enclosed local area, tension band advertising can generally only be approved on bridges approved by the Civil Engineering Office under the following conditions:

• Own information of the state capital Stuttgart.
• Notices and information of special public interest (e.g. "School has started").
• Sports events and comparable other events in the Stuttgart city area of overriding interest (e.g. international soccer matches, state trade fair).

The maximum posting period is three weeks. Company and product advertising (business advertising) is generally not permitted on the municipal bridges.

Tension band advertising in Königstraße
For smaller events of Stuttgart institutions in the city area, two wind-permeable tension bands can be hung between the rows of trees in Königstraße under certain conditions.

Note: The hanging on the trees must be carried out by a specialist company at the expense of the event organizer. The maximum posting period is 14 days. Splitting the period is not possible.
