If you register your change of address in person at one of the 22 citizens' offices in the city, you can also take care of other services related to your move at the same time. These include, for example
- Change of address on the chip of your identity card
- Receive an address sticker for your ID card
- Change the address on your passport or eAT
- Transferring your vehicle to the new address
- Receive resident parking permits for your new home
If you have a guardian who exercises the right to determine your place of residence, this guardian must re-register you and bring the order or court order with them.

Procedure
You can download and complete the forms in advance and hand them in personally at the Citizens' Office. Alternatively, you can use our online service.
You can also register your family members if they have lived with you in the same home and are moving with you. You will need to bring their identity documents with you. If your children do not have any documents, please bring their birth certificate with you. Families can be registered on a joint registration form.
Authorized persons must also present a power of attorney and their ID. In this case, the signature of the authorized representative on the registration form serves as power of attorney.
After registration, you will receive a confirmation of registration for your records.
