About the North Building Department (northern suburbs)

The office is the first point of contact for our customers in the North Department. Here you can obtain general information, for example on the status of procedures.

The department's building experts carry out the building permit procedure and other building law procedures. They check the building documents submitted and involve the neighbors and the relevant authorities. They then make the decision after examining the content. The building experts also offer building advice.

The administrative staff are involved in all application and intervention procedures. They check whether building encumbrances are required, set the fees and carry out the final processing of the decisions.

The construction supervision department carries out the inspections in accordance with the state building regulations. It checks and decides on building permits (red dot) and certificates of completion for the creation of residential property. Its building inspection tasks include inspections and the enforcement of orders.
