About the Building Law Office

The 160 employees at the Building Law Office perform important tasks in the two areas of "building permit procedures" and "building regulations procedures": In the various approval procedures, they check in advance whether the wishes of those wishing to build are compatible with building regulations such as the development plan, fire protection, etc.
They intervene in the building regulation procedures if, for example, safety-related defects need to be rectified. The focus here is equally on the interests of building owners and the neighborhood, as well as public safety and order and urban development.
