Younger people in need of care live together with senior citizens under one roof in the Heslach Intergenerational House run by the Rudolf Schmid and Hermann Schmid Foundation. Various initiatives join forces with church and independent groups and institutions from Stuttgart-Heslach. The parent-child center with its many laughing and playing children is a particular asset. They all make the Generationenhaus a meeting place that is closely connected to the district and its residents.
