The department is divided into the following areas

 Training

In the area of personnel development, concepts are developed for city-wide personnel development topics as well as department-specific concepts for individual departments and in-house operations. Another important aspect is management development and the provision of coaching for managers.

The training staff coordinate the training for all apprenticeships and dual study courses within the city administration and are responsible for carrying out training in the administrative professions and for arranging internships.

The employees of the BildungsCampus are the contact persons for further training and the city administration's central seminar program. They organize seminars at the BildungsCampus that are geared towards the specific needs of the departments and municipal enterprises.
