The Main and Personnel Office is the central cross-sectional office for the entire administration of the state capital Stuttgart and has 540 employees.

As part of the General Administration, Culture and Law Department, it combines the traditional areas of responsibility of the Main Office, the Personnel Office and the Office for Information and Communication. The Main and Personnel Office provides all services from central procurement and the operation of the IT landscape to personnel services centrally from a single source.
