The tasks of the Legal, Contracts and Mobility department include

• Contracts for the private use of areas owned by the Civil Engineering Department. In the case of publicly dedicated areas, a  cemetery (opens in a new tab) contract must be concluded with the city. For areas that are not publicly dedicated, a rental or lease agreement is possible.
• Contracts for the use of public street space for advertising boards, billboards, etc.
• Construction contracts for the planning and construction of public roads, paths and squares by private investors
• Contracts for the payment of compensation in lieu of the creation of private parking spaces as part of a  building permit (opens in a new tab)
• the processing of damage claims. This includes
  • Examining  claims for compensation (opens in a new tab) for personal injury and property damage due to a possible breach of the duty to maintain safety on public roads.
  • Examination and assertion of claims for damages by the city against third parties in the event of damage to municipal traffic facilities.
• Handling damage caused by road users to municipal traffic facilities
