Relays are reconnected, various songs are played and individual bells are struck, the sound is checked and tested again. The whole process takes about four to six hours.
Anyone who would like to take a closer look at the carillon can book one of the guided tours, which are offered regularly for eight euros: Carillonneur Ekaterina Porizko explains technical aspects of the instrument and plays melodies by well-known composers. The regular times at which the carillon sounds are daily at 11:05 a.m., 12:05 p.m., 2:35 p.m., 6:35 p.m. and 9:25 p.m.
