NeckarPark Stuttgart

The NeckarPark in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt is the largest event area in Stuttgart and presents an impressive variety of sports, culture and tourism on a total of 55 hectares. NeckarPark Stuttgart also stands for top-class sports and free organized sports in Stuttgart.

Popular sports and leisure area: NeckarPark in Bad Cannstatt with MHPArena Stuttgart, Porsche Arena, Schleyer Hall and Wasen.

NeckarPark Stuttgart offers the sports and event venues  MHPArena Stuttgart (opens in a new tab),  Porsche (opens in a new tab) Arena and  Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle (opens in a new tab), which are known beyond the city limits. The  Mercedes-Benz Museum (opens in a new tab) also attracts numerous visitors. The  Cannstatter Wasen (opens in a new tab) hosts the annual Cannstatter Frühlingsfest and Cannstatter Volksfest, as well as open-air concerts.

NeckarPark is also home to a number of Stuttgart sports clubs, the Stuttgart Olympic Training Center, the SCHARRena Stuttgart and  SpOrt Stuttgart (opens in a new tab), the competence center for Stuttgart sports and the region. In addition, the  Kunst-Turn-Forum Stuttgart (opens in a new tab), Stadion Festwiese and the Molly-Schauffele-Sporthalle, the national and state performance center for athletics.

Stuttgart’s largest sports area is also set to grow even further in the future. With the new  city quarter in the area of the old Bad Cannstatt freight station, the NeckarPark will be supplemented by a new residential and commercial area, as well as an indoor sports pool and exercise facilities for children.
