An opera performance especially for young audiences? A dance course in one of the most renowned ballet houses in the world? A lot is possible in Stuttgart's colorful cultural landscape! A selection of offers for young culture lovers can be found under  Culture for Children and Young People.

A special project of the city of Stuttgart is  KUBI-S - Network for Cultural Education. KUBI-S opens up access to cultural education opportunities in Stuttgart and supports the participation of children and young people. For example, KUBI-S enables schools, kindergartens and other groups to collaborate with artists. It also offers its own vacation program.

Many of Stuttgart's  children's and youth centers (opens in a new tab) organize programs for children and young people who want to create themselves. Young creatives can really let off steam in workshops and workshops and try out whether there is a little artist slumbering inside them while painting, crafting, working and making music together.

Actions from A to Z - that's what you get at  Buchkinder Stuttgart (opens in a new tab). And that is meant literally, because the program revolves around language, expression and illustration. Here, books are read aloud, written and made: from writing and creative workshops to workshops and readings, there is everything to inspire bookworms young and old. Literary festivals and reading clubs are also organized. The holistic educational project for schoolchildren is supported by the  cultural office of the state capital Stuttgart, among others.

The  Spielhaus Unterer Schlossgarten (opens in a new tab) is a facility of the Stuttgarter Jugendhaus Gesellschaft and offers play and work activities for children aged 6 to 13. The motto here is to experience art and creativity through play. Events and festivals round off the program.

The interactive research platform  Sport und Spiel (opens in a new tab) offers a practical decision-making aid. The more than 5,000 entries are evaluated using a filter function. Of course, swimming pools are a must when it comes to recreational fun in Stuttgart. A total of 16 pools invite you to splash around, swim and dive. Whether you want to go to the mineral pool, indoor pool or outdoor pool - pack your swimwear and off you go!

The  Sportkreisjugend Stuttgart (opens in a new tab) is an independent youth welfare organization and, as the largest youth association in Stuttgart, the contact for associations, clubs and citizens. Supported by the city of Stuttgart, the Sportkreisjugend Stuttgart offers events and projects around the topic of "sports and youth".

A tour through Stuttgart is not only interesting for visitors: young Stuttgart residents can also explore sights and peculiarities on a city tour. For example, the  Stuttgart Youth Welfare Office organizes its own crime city tours. During the little adventures in the big city, children can, among other things, uncover criminal machinations...

At  SlowMobil Stuttgart (opens in a new tab), only regional produce is served. And the best thing is that the kids do the cooking themselves! Cooking with fresh produce, trying out recipes, learning a few tricks - at the SlowMobil, mini cooks can really let off steam. The subsequent tasting is also twice as much fun in a cheerful atmosphere. The SlowMobil is aimed at children between the ages of 6 and 12 and can be booked by schools and recreational facilities throughout Stuttgart.
