Day care center for children Cheruskerstraße

Our facility is located in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen in the Hohenstein district and has been in existence since 1903, having been renovated and modernized several times since then. The district offers plenty of opportunities for outside activities, so we make use of these opportunities in everyday life with the children.

Insights into our daycare center

Every day, families and their children from different cultures and life situations come together at our facility. We perceive all people as an enrichment for the entire facility and the prejudice-conscious handling of differences is the basis of our actions. Joint celebrations and activities awaken a zest for life and strengthen the sense of community among children, families and staff.

The staff attach particular importance to respectful and respectful interaction between the children. In everyday pedagogical life, all children are encouraged by professionals to express their needs. The involvement and participation of children and families in the design of the educational work is very important to us.

We value social justice and equal opportunities on the basis of human rights. It is important to us to build a good relationship with each child, as this is the most important prerequisite for every child to be able to develop freely. A trusting, empathetic and loving approach is of great importance to us. We take a positive view of each child and focus on their strengths and interests.
