Day care center for children Mähdachstraße

The Mähdachstraße daycare center is located in the west of Stuttgart, in the Weilimdorf district. Our facility is surrounded by a spacious outdoor area that invites the children to play, climb, experiment and observe. We plant and harvest all year round on our raised beds.

Insights into our daycare center

We follow the principle of participation, self-determination and self-efficacy in the organization of our daily routine. The children are invited to conquer the rooms, play and discover new things throughout the day in an open group concept.

With weekly projects and activities for different groups, we want to enable the children to experience forest days, excursions, visits to libraries or getting to know the district. This also includes our weekly trip to the gym as part of the Kita Fit project.

You can find out about the next introductory dates at our facility. We will personally inform parents who have accepted a place about our settling-in concept.

You can find out more about our  childcare options (opens in a new tab) here.

We have summarized information about our daily routine, the pedagogical focus and our cooperation with families for you in our:
