Day care center for children Scheffelstraße "The Wild 19

The municipal day care center for children "Die Wilde 19" has been integrated into the Stuttgart-West district since 1949. Children aged 3 to 14 are cared for, educated, supported and fed here.

Insights into our daycare center with school childcare

Our work is based on the educational profile of the Stuttgart Youth Welfare Office and the guidelines of the Baden-Württemberg orientation plan. Both concepts are about focusing on and supporting the individual strengths of the children. A trusting educational partnership with parents is also firmly anchored in our work, as is cooperation and networking in the district.

Thanks to its five floors, our childcare facility has many individual rooms with a wide range of opportunities for your children to develop. For example, our research room, studio, workshop and music room invite all children aged 3 to 14 to get active and discover new things.

A regular children's conference and projects by children for children are just one example of how we practise participation.

You can find out about the next meeting dates at our facility. We will personally inform parents who have accepted a place about our settling-in concept.

You can find out more about  our childcare options (opens in a new tab) here.

To register for the age range 6-12 (after-school care), please contact the facility management by telephone.
