We are climate heroes: Who walks - moves!
In the project, even children can show how they can become real climate heroes and climate heroines by walking to school. By avoiding driving more often for short distances and instead cycling and walking, the atmosphere could be relieved of many tons of CO2.
In three double lessons, the children learn lots of interesting facts about climate change and what they themselves can do to protect the climate. The first double lesson is about the blue planet. The children learn about the beauty of the Earth using world maps, pictures and sounds. But also that the earth is in danger.
As trained climate experts, the children receive a certificate for the points they have collected. They learn that they can contribute to a better climate by making simple changes to their everyday behavior. A T-shirt as a farewell gift will remind them of their experiences during the project.
The "We are climate heroes" project is funded by the city of Stuttgart and carried out by raumstadt_architektur from Singen.
