Terms of use

The City Surveying Office and the offices of the city administration maintain the map and 3D data with the necessary care. However, not all map material can be updated on an ongoing basis. There may therefore be deviations in the topicality, completeness, quality and accuracy of the information, data and services provided.

The City Surveying Office reserves the right to adapt services, applications, data content and map layout.

a) The use of map extracts or extracts from the 3D city model and geoservices of the City of Stuttgart is free of charge for non-commercial purposes. This includes use for private individuals, associations and scientific study purposes.

b) For commercial use, other purposes (e.g. for official tasks at institutions and authorities) or for publications of the data, maps and services provided on the Internet, please contact the City Surveying Office.

c) Insofar as rights of use are granted, these are simple rights of use. For digital use, the user is granted a simple right of public access, for analog use a simple right of reproduction and distribution. Substantial processing of the map material requires the consent of the City Surveyor's Office of the City of Stuttgart.

d) The rights of use may only be transferred to third parties with the consent of the Stuttgart City Surveyor's Office.

e) Any granting of rights of use is subject to the condition that a copyright notice is affixed. These are to be structured as follows:

Note : Only individual data sets from Verband Region Stuttgart, OSM, BKG and LGL-BW are used to supplement the urban data.
