Impact regulation and eco-account

The impact regulation under nature conservation law is a central instrument of nature conservation. It is intended to maintain the performance and functionality of the natural balance and the landscape and is to be applied across the board.

The impact regulation is intended to counteract the consumption of nature and landscape and to compensate for unavoidable impairments. An impact regulation exists both in the area of nature conservation law and in the area of building planning law.

In both areas, early compensation and replacement measures can be stockpiled in the respective eco-account.

The compensation register is maintained uniformly throughout the state and can be viewed by the public. The ecocontrol measures and the compensation measures already assigned to an intervention in the area of the state capital Stuttgart are divided into two sections and can be accessed as follows:
