The City Pigeon Project Stuttgart

The Wangen district office, in cooperation with the “Stadttauben Stuttgart” team, will be providing information on the “Stadttauben-Projekt Stuttgart” on Thursday, December 1, at 7 p.m. in the Eberhard Ludwig Saal, Wangener Kelter, Ulmer Straße 334, with an introduction, film and discussion. Residents of the district are invited to attend.

City pigeons in Stuttgart have a problem: there are too many, and quite a few are sick. This brings a number of annoyances, such as nuisance to people or large amounts of pigeon droppings in public places. Defense measures and killing campaigns have no lasting effect, as the animals quickly make up for them through location loyalty and ingenuity, as well as increased reproduction rates. ”Stadttauben-Projekt Stuttgart” offers a sustainable, effective and animal welfare-friendly solution to the problem.

“Stadttauben Stuttgart” is a project of the Tierschutzverein Stuttgart in cooperation with the state capital Stuttgart. Admission is free.
