The district of Ludwigsburg and the city of Stuttgart have been organic model regions since the end of 2019 and are jointly pursuing the goal of strengthening organic agriculture along the regional value chain as well as increasing the appreciation of regional organic products. In order to bring consumers closer to organic products and regional agriculture despite distance regulations, the organic model region Ludwigsburg-Stuttgart is organizing an online cooking course in cooperation with the Nutrition Center Mittlerer Neckar on August 14, 2020 at 5 pm.
So that all participants have the same conditions, all those who want to swing the wooden spoon with the organic sample region will receive fresh ingredients from a regional organic delivery service. From the training kitchen of the nutrition center a summer menu for two persons is cooked live, step by step, so that everyone can cook in parallel in his own kitchen. Little tricks to enhance dishes will complement the evening. But it is not only about the culinary: the farms and market gardens, whose products are processed, are also presented.
