Addiction Prevention

Stuttgart’s addiction prevention strengthens young and old and supports the development of self-responsible (consumer) behavior. In addition to individual behavior, good living conditions are important prerequisites for a healthy urban society. Addiction prevention is committed to this.

Stuttgart’s addiction prevention helps citizens to recognize their own limits when it comes to consumer behavior.

The Stuttgart addiction prevention informs about:

  • Substance-related addictions such as dependence on alcohol, tobacco, medication, heroin, cannabis,
  • non-substance-related addictions such as gambling addiction, media addiction,
  • non-addictive but harmful use of psychoactive substances,
  • Eating disorders as diseases with addiction-like character.
