WLAN

Free WLAN in all Stuttgart district offices

The Office for Digitization, Organization and IT (DO.IT) has installed WLAN throughout the district offices in a very short period of time. All district offices now have WLAN coverage in the public-intensive areas.

The explanatory video shows which steps are necessary to go online on site.

This offer is intended to improve the quality of stay in the offices and increase the benefits for our citizens.

Fabian Mayer, First Mayor of the state capital Stuttgart, says: “We are pleased that we have managed to implement the roll-out of WLAN in the district offices in a short time thanks to the commitment of all those involved. In the next step, we will soon also be equipping the last citizens’ offices with WLAN across the board, in addition to the district offices. This has already been done at most of the citizens’ offices.”

Visitors to the district offices will receive information about the free guest WLAN on posters on site. These are provided with a QR code that can be scanned via smartphone. The QR code leads to a short explanatory video that shows what steps are necessary to go online free of charge on site.
