Overview of funding opportunities
Cultural funding supports projects in the fields of visual arts, dance and theater, film and media, literature and philosophy, music and sound as well as interdisciplinary projects in the areas of intercultural cultural work, cultural education, socioculture and culture in public spaces as well as in the context of town-twinning exchanges.
Use the application forms to apply for funding for your project. The forms are valid for almost all subject areas. If the application differs, the required document is attached in the respective area or an informal application is possible.
Applications in different subject areas or calls for proposals should be indicated. Double funding for the same project by different departments is not possible.
If the end of a deadline falls on a Sunday, a public holiday or a Saturday, the deadline ends at the end of the next working day.

Application forms for project funding
The forms for applying for project funding in the areas of visual arts and media arts, literature and philosophy, performing arts (dance and theater), music and sound, as well as culture in public spaces, cultural education, interculture, and film are available for download here. Please use the current version of Acrobat Reader from Adobe to fill out the application and not the program "Preview" or "Viewer" from Apple!
The application for funding consists of a fully completed project application, a balanced cost and financing plan that takes into account all anticipated expenses and income, as well as a description of the project, information on the project participants, a timetable, and a detailed breakdown of the fee costs that clearly shows how the fees were calculated.
The City of Stuttgart attaches great importance to the appropriate remuneration of actors in the cultural sector and ensures that minimum standards are observed in the projects it supports. Therefore, the review of the fees set in your cost and financing plan is based on publications of the central professional associations and institutions on minimum fees.
