Head: Ulrike Jahnke About the school The School for Nursing Professions is part of the Eigen¬betrieb Leben und Wohnen der Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart (ELW for short). It is easily accessible in Stuttgart-Vaihingen near the train station. Depending on your school-leaving qualifications and professional experience, there are four training courses to choose from at the ELW School for Nursing Professions. Nursing specialist (three-year training course) ¿ Secondary school leaving certificate or a higher educational qualification ¿ Secondary school leaving certificate and training as a geriatric care assistant or nursing assistant ¿ Secondary school leaving certificate and at least two years of completed vocational training as a geriatric nurse (three-year training course) ¿ Application as a nursing specialist with the qualifications listed there. Nursing specialist with the requirements listed there; specialization in the third year of training Geriatric nursing assistant (one-year training) ¿ Secondary general school certificate or recognition of the foreign educational qualification as a German secondary general school certificate Geriatric nursing assistant for people with little knowledge of German (two-year training)
