Newly built in 2018, the Hilde and Eugen Krempel Men's Residential Home is more than a municipal facility. As a permanent place to live, the residential home enables the residents of the inpatient long-term assistance to feel at home and participate in the community. The individual needs and abilities of the residents are taken into account as much as possible. Depending on the individual problem situation, different offers are available: In addition to the longer-term accommodation in the inpatient long-term assistance, there is the possibility of short-term accommodation in the emergency overnight stay and that of medium-term living in the reception house. Accommodation in furnished single rooms, partly own furnishing possible (except for emergency overnight stay), 24-hour care by an interdisciplinary team, open lunch, breakfast and dinner. Refrigerators and cooking facilities are available for residents who want to prepare their own meals, free use of washing machines and dryers, extensive recreational and group activities, supervised work opportunities, assistance with contacts to offices and authorities, support with debt settlement, payment of assistance for living expenses, offer of medical care.
