As a service-providing institution, the Central Service forms a supporting element of the Leben und Wohnen Eigenbetrieb. It creates the administrative prerequisites for a high standard in the fulfillment of the care mandate of leben&wohnen. The Central Service performs cross-facility tasks for the Eigenbetrieb Leben und Wohnen and sees itself as a provider of services for the Eigenbetrieb and as an interface to municipal and external partners. The central areas of responsibility include general administration, all personnel matters, finance and accounting and controlling, information and communications technology, specialist consulting and quality management, as well as facility management. The Central Service with the management and its service areas is physically located in Stuttgart-Vaihingen, Industriestrasse 28.
