An open community for all generations - the Kornhasen Intergenerational Center was planned and built with this core idea in mind. Since 2005, it has been a place where people come together in the Wangen district of Stuttgart. Closely linked to the Wangen district, it houses the Willy Körner Haus care facility for the elderly, a day care facility for children, a senior citizens' residential complex and the Erna Beck Hall, which is available as a district space for joint parties and celebrations as well as for events organized by associations and initiatives from the district. The most important services at a glance: 50 fully inpatient care places, short-term care places, lunch for residents and guests, located at the foot of the Wangener Höhe, surrounded by greenery, good connections to shopping facilities in the district, Erna-Beck-Saal district room for events, parties and celebrations, diverse and intergenerational leisure and meeting facilities with creative activities, memory training, excursions, exercise programs, support from the social services department with contacts to authorities and cost bearers, social law matters and personal worries, support in the last phase of life, cooperation with the voluntary sitting watch groups.
