The Cultural Office is a supporting, developing and planning partner for Stuttgart's artists and cultural institutions. With its central services and six of its own cultural institutions with a total of 750 employees, it performs a wide range of municipal cultural work in the state capital of Stuttgart. It thus contributes significantly to the city's character as a cultural city with a rich offering.
The Cultural Office acts as a moderator of the multi-layered cultural interests, a mediator of even complex issues in the administration, urban society and politics, a supporter of trends and projects worthy of protection and experimentation as well as a developer of new strategies and initiatives.
With numerous innovation funds, dialog events and new formats, the Cultural Office responds to social developments and implements them in the cultural sector. The diverse civic spectrum is the guiding principle here.
