Recognition of voluntary work

Andrea Grieb received the award for her many years of commitment to the Inclusion - Together for One Another advisory board. She enriches the advisory board with her knowledge and provides important impetus for the participation and inclusion of people with disabilities in the community. From 2007 to 2010, she trained as a tour guide in Stuttgart as part of the Caritas "Blickwechsel" project. Since then, she has been guiding people with and without disabilities through Stuttgart on a voluntary basis. In doing so, she makes an important contribution to ensuring that people with and without disabilities treat each other with respect and empathy. Andrea Grieb has also been a member of the advisory board for people with disabilities in the state capital of Stuttgart since 2024.

Carmen Kohr was honored for her outstanding commitment to the Körperbehinderten-Verein Stuttgart. She was Chairwoman of the Alex Club Board from 2001 to 2019. The Alex Club is the youth organization of the Körperbehinderten-Verein Stuttgart and a meeting place for children, teenagers and young adults with and without disabilities. Carmen Kohr represented the interests of the youth on the board of the Körperbehinderten-Verein. As a trained educator, she helped shape the cultural and leisure program on a voluntary basis. In doing so, she focused on accessibility. Carmen Kohr has been a member of the advisory board for people with disabilities in the state capital of Stuttgart since 2015. Together with the 17 members, she is committed to ensuring that everyone can participate in life in urban society with equal rights and self-determination.
