The Office of Public Order will be closed to the general public on December 24, 2025 and from December 31, 2025 to January 6, 2026 with all offices, including all citizens' offices in the city districts as well as the vehicle registration and driving license office. In urgent and verifiable emergencies, we can be reached by telephone on January 02, 2026 and January 05, 2026 via the Service Center Stuttgart on 0711/216-0. Due to staff shortages at the vehicle registration and driving license office, it is currently not possible to fill all of the application acceptance desks. Unfortunately, this means that public service is restricted. Please therefore expect longer waiting times under certain circumstances. If the number of visitors is high, the vehicle registration and driving license office may close early. We ask for your understanding.
