Health and vitality are important at any age. A key role in this is played by sufficient exercise, community activities and the joy of trying things out. For citizens of a more mature age who would like to get fit or stay fit, there are special exercise programs offered by the city of Stuttgart.
The common intention of the programs is regular exercise, which has a positive effect at any age. If one is largely healthy and has sufficient strength, stamina and a secure balance, one can manage everyday tasks more easily in old age and lead an independent life.
Why is exercise so important, especially in old age?
Regular exercise is important for everyone - whether young or old. But especially in old age, it is all the more important to keep going. Because those who get enough exercise:
