Under the PlusEnergy program, funding is available, among other things, for buildings that generate more energy from renewable sources over the course of the year than is required in the building. The subsidy applies to private individuals, owners’ associations, legal entities and associations.
According to the guidelines, a building can always be subsidized if a positive primary energy and CO2 balance is achieved over the year. To meet this criterion, the building’s energy consumption must be as low as possible and the local generation of renewable energy as high as possible.
To generate energy at the building, for example, the use of photovoltaic systems for electricity generation or heat pumps for heat generation is suitable.
