Electromobility

Stuttgart is focusing on electromobility. This is because the operation of electric vehicles, especially in combination with regeneratively generated electricity, produces significantly less CO2 - and thus ensures better air. The city therefore offers several alternatives that follow the electric course.

Around 200 charging stations in Stuttgart provide the necessary power for electric cars, including one on Keplerstrasse. The expansion of the charging network in the city continues uninterrupted.

Car, bicycle, scooter or scooter - more and more road users are switching to an electric drive for their vehicle. As a result, fewer pollutants are emitted and the air in the Stuttgart basin is cleaner. Electric mobility based on renewable energies is considered a central component of a sustainable and climate-friendly transportation system.

Residents and tourists have various offers in Stuttgart to switch to e-mobility. In addition, there are several support programs to increase the attractiveness and to anchor electromobility even more in the urban transportation system.
